CUET 2024: Exam Date, Application Form, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus
National Testing Agency has announced the Common University Entrance Exam 2024 dates. The CUET 2024 will be conducted from May 21 to 31 for admission to undergraduate and integrated postgraduate courses in the 90 enrolled universities. The application form for CUET 2024 will be released in the first week of February online mode on the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in. Candidates can register, submit the required documents and pay the pre-requisite fee to complete the CUET 2024 application process. Result will be announced by the end of third week of June.
The CUET will be conducted in two slots and it is a computer-based test. There will be four sections in the exam, Section 1A (Language Test), Section 1B (Optional Language Test), Section 2 (Domain-Specific Test) and Section 3 (General Test). All of the enrolled universities will accept the CUET score for admission to UG courses. CUET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:-
Applying for CUET UG, candidates should check the complete eligibility criteria. NTA sets the eligibility criteria to sit for CUET UG exam, however, the programmed-specific eligibility is set by the participating universities. To be eligible for the CUET 2023, candidate must have passed Class 10+2 from a recognized board. All the candidates must check the official websites of their respective universities to know the eligibility criteria.
NTA will release the application form for CUET UG tentatively in the first week of February 2023. Candidates can visit the official website (cuet.samarth.ac.in) to check the application form. Candidates need to first register on the portal by providing the details asked, and then complete the procedure by submitting the application fee and required documents.
How to fill CUET 2023 Application Form?
Step 1 – Visit the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in.
Step 2 – Fill up the CUET registration 2023 by entering the details.
Step 3 – Candidates will receive the login credentials on their registered email address and mobile number.
Step 4 – Now, the candidates can use the login details provided by NTA and fill the application form of CUET.
Step 5 – Upload the required documents such as a scanned image of NTA passport-sized photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
Step 6 – Pay the application fee in online mode.
Step 7 – Take the printouts of the duly filled application form for future reference.
Application Fees:-
After filling the CUET application form, candidates are required to pay the application fees. The CUET application fee 2023 can be paid through debit card, UPI, Pay TM services, credit card or net banking. The CUET 2023 application process will be completed only after the successful submission of application fees.

CUET 2023 Login:-
Candidates who will successfully complete the CUET UG application process will receive the CUET login details on email address and mobile number. These login details are crucial for further processing hence keep it safe. The CUET login details can be used for checking the CUET application status, downloading the admit card, result, etc.
CUET Exam Centers 2023:-
All the candidates are required to submit their choice of exam centers PREPARATION while submitting the application form of CUET 2023. Candidates can choose up to three exam centers. It is important to select the CUET exam Centre wisely as it can not be changed at a later stage. In the year 2022, NTA conducted the CUET UG exam at 259 cities in India and 10 cities outside India in Manama, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait City and New York.
CUET 2023 Syllabus:-
National Testing Agency releases the syllabus of CUET UG. The CUET syllabus is based on the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. Candidates can check the domain-specific syllabus on the official website. Candidates preparing for the entrance test should check the CUET syllabus 2023 to know about the topics and units covered in the entrance exam.

CUET 2023 Admit Card:-

NTA sets some important instructions for the candidates that need to be strictly followed during the exam day. CUET 2023 Answer Key:-
NTA will release the CUET answer key 2023 a few days after the exam. Candidates will be able to download the provisional CUET answer key from the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in. Candidates can check the correct answers to the questions asked in the CUET exam, and if found incorrect, candidates can also raise objections within the given time frame. NTA will evaluate all the objections, and release a final answer key on the website.
How to Download CUET 2023 Answer Key?
CUET 2023 Result
NTA will announce the CUET result online in third week of June. Candidates will be able to check the CUET result 2023 from the CUET official website. To download the result, candidates are required to enter their application number and date of birth. The result of CUET will include the marks obtained by the candidates in the CUET UG exam, and candidates can use this score for admission to various participating universities.

CUET Marking Scheme 2023:-
NTA sets the marking scheme for CUET UG exam. The students will be awarded 5 marks for each correct response. For every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted from the total marks. No marks will be deducted for not answering a question.
CUET Score Card 2023
The National Testing Agency will announce the CUET UG result in the form of a scorecard. The CUET scorecard will include the candidate’s details and the normalized scores. The scorecard of CUET will be used for admission to all the participating universities, hence it is mandatory for all the candidates to keep it safe till the admission process completes.
CUET 2023 Normalization Process:-
CUET UG exam will be conducted in two slots on different dates, so in order to create a level playing field in terms of difficulty level CUET normalization procedure is used by NTA. CUET percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all the candidates in all the rounds of the examination.
Percentile score – 100 X Number of candidates who appeared in the ‘Session’ with raw score equal to or less than the candidate.

There are a total of 90 universities in the CUET. The Universities includes 44 central university and 46 state, deemed, and private universities. All these universities will accept the CUET UG scores for admission to the CUET programmes.
